The Community Foundation of Lorain County presents check to Family Promise of Lorain County . "On October 13, 2009 Margo Hirth and Pat Lindley,  Board members of the Community Foundation of Lorain County attending the Family Promise of Lorain County Board meeting to present a check in the amount of $20,000. Family Promise of Lorain County received this contribution upon a rigorous grant selection process. Funds will be used, in part, to complete background checks on all Interfaith Hospitality Network volunteers as a means of providing the safest environment possible for children staying in the shelter."
