Lois brings professional experience as the Amachi Ohio Regional Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Development Manager of Neighborhood Alliance (previously Neighborhood House). She is an alum of the Class of 2004 of Leadership Lorain County and was Big Sister of the Year in 2011. Family Promise is a 24/7 homeless shelter for families in need throughout Lorain County. Through its Interfaith Hospitality Network they have trained over 700 volunteers and enlisted approximately 25 congregations who provide shelter, food and most importantly hospitality to homeless children and their families. At their Day Center in Elyria, guests receive intensive case management services. It is their mission to help those without homes not only achieve but sustain their independence. "The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of Family Promise," commented Cindi Manning.
